21. Location. Northants. Aug 27, 2009. #5. I purchased some windscreen protector spray thingy madgig (good at this techincal cleaning thing ) from Lidl as suggested on here somewhere. The rain just slides up the windscreen and greatly reduces the need to use windscreen wipers, especially when it's just spitting.
Jan 10, 2010. #2. Pop the carpet from the nearside bulkhead (RHD) and see if the motor will run if flicked by long screwdriver. DO NOT PUT YOUR FINGERS IN THERE WITH THE POWER TO THE MOTOR ON. Possibly a burnt point on the track. If no action at all, check that you have a supply, then put an extra earth in. Cheers.
1. Apr 25, 2019. #1. Hi all. I searched the forum, the internet and the owner's manual but couldn;t find where the Wiper's fuse is located in my 2013 Panda. I came back from vacation to filnd my battery is flat, when I connected the aux battery the wipers started working and the key wasn't in the ignition and the stalk in the off position.

If you want a cheap genuine replacement wiper unit try zombie-cars on E-Bay. I got 1 for my mk2 for £48 & freeP&P. Came within 2 days & fitted it todayseems to be working a treat.Tried the upgraded linkage arms but they wear out just the same (metal ball socket in a nylon bush).Fiat charge round £130 for same unit.

Apparently, the wiper motor had 'lost' its earth connection. The RAC guy had to solder a wire to the existing earth connection on the 4-way wiper motor plug and connect it directly to the chassis. However, when I tried the wipers the next day, they worked for a couple of seconds, but then stopped and have failed to work ever since.

If front wipers are on intermittent, and the rear wiper is on, it wipes every second wipe of the front. The rear click is often a few milliseconds after the front.
