So, Mafia 3 is on Sale on GOG right now. Mafia 1 definitive edition is not available on GOG, only on Steam and Epic, and I planned on buying the trilogy (R$280, in Brazil), since the remake costs R$230. I planned on waiting for a sale. Like in the original, I saw the scene where Tommy, when finishing off Sam was one floor above him meant that, either out of sheer luck or divine fate Tommy has bested Sam in a showdown. And ironically when Sam ratted out Tommy wanting to rise up the ranks to the high life, went down one floor lower, losing to the accomplice he betrayed.So Mafia remake looks better and has more "modernized" controls and is easier, at the expense of a quite a lot of cut content. If you are ok with the graphics and controls being 20 years old, and being more difficult, I'd absolutely recommend the original over the remake. Skullhammer98. •. I don’t really want both, I just want one or the other. I also want recommendations for other games as well. Yeah, I feel like Hanger 13 got caught up in the criticism from some corners of the internet that Mafia and especially Mafia 2 were "too linear" and that people wanted a real open world game, but they clearly had no idea how to actually make an open world game interesting.
